Fishing Report - Aug. 18, 2007

These are going to be abbreviated reports this week...I  have very limited internet access this week, but I wanted to get everyone's report and pictures up.

Today was WINDY and we didn't get to leave the dock until almost 2:00pm.  We headed out into the 4 footers hoping that the big blow didn't mess things up too much.  Rob, Charlie, Scott, and Brian gutted it out in the bumpy seas, put in their time and were rewarded for their efforts. Green or White Spinnys paired with Siggs Rigs Blue Dolphin, White Crinkle, or Green Hypnotist flies did all the damage.  We had to get out to 400 FOW to find fish, but the long slow ride out there was worth the trip.  The wind had driven temps deep, so we had to fish down 140'.

It's getting to be a tradition of sorts on our boat to kiss your first-ever lake Ontario King!

Thanks for sticking out the long wait for the winds to lay down with us guys...I think it was well worth it.  We enjoyed having you on board.

Until next time, Fish On!
