Fishing Report - August 24, 2007
Today we were joined by Arla, Loren, and Nick for a day of fishing. The fishing has been pretty spotty all week long, and today was no exception. We started out in close where we had been digging the kings out of the mud the past few days, but they just weren't there. We finally slid East towards Oswego a bit and moved out deeper and found what we had been looking for. We were in 180-240' of water and we took an entire day's worth of fish in about an hour. Sometimes that's the way it goes out on the lake...hours of searching for fish and then pandemonium for an hour or two once we find them.
Big fish of the day goes to Arla, with this beauty:

After several dropped fish in a row Loren finally brought this King to the net:

And my favorite fish of the entire week so far has to be Nick's beautiful brown:

Now that's a happy boy! Way to go Nick!
That Dreamweaver spoon I mentioned from yesterday did a lot of the damage for us today, and our favorite Sigg's Rigs flys behind 8" Spin Dr.'s did the rest of the work for us.
Today was a really fun day for all of us, and I sure hope to fish with you guys again next year!
Until next time, Fish On!
