That's right, we're moving our base of operations for the 2008 Season.  Not to worry, we'll still be calling Fair Haven our home port.  We've just decided to move the boat down the bay a bit to Anchor Resort so that we'll have shore power, deeper water, and more room for the boat.  We've thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shawn's Marina, but the new boat was just a bit too big for the marina.  So we'll be in slip #11 at Anchor this year.  We'll continue to keep our camper over at Shawn's, so if you're looking for us after a day on the water we'll still be hanging out over there.  Please feel free to stop in and say Hi.

We're excited about being at Anchor for lots of reasons including the previously mentioned space, deep water, and shore power.  But Anchor is also home to some of the most dedicated and successful fishermen in the area.  As most of you know, we gladly share information with others and most of the guys over at Anchor share that same philosophy.  We're looking forward to being "in the loop" with them.  The atmosphere at Anchor is all about fishing, and so are we!  It should be a great fit for us.

If you've booked a trip with us and need lodging, Anchor Resort offers lots of on-site options including cottages, a bunk house and a full B&B.  Please give Chris and Linda a call and be sure to tell them that we sent you.  For those of you who have already booked lodging over at Shawn's, don't fret.  Anchor is just a quick trip down the road from Shawn's and you'll have us right there to make sure you're up in time and ready for your day on the water!







This warm weather definitely has me thinking about the lake, but Old Man Winter will be back again soon and I'll be out enjoying the season.  Stay tuned throughout the winter for more updates and news.
