I'm SO wound up for fishing season to start that I almost can't stand it!  I'm not sleeping much at night because my brain is literally on fishing overload.  There's just so much to get done before we drop the boat in the water.  As most of you know, we're pretty committed to fishing for browns in the spring out of Fair Haven...it's such a blast to work the inside water with stickbaits for the first few weeks of the season.  One of our favorite baits for springtime browns is the Dave's KA-BOOM Shiner.  Dave has painted up some custom colors for his largest dealer, X-Tackle and I'm so stoked on these colors that I just had to share them with you.  You can only find these custom colors on X-Tackle's website, www.xtackle.com.  You'll be seeing some of these colors on our boat this season:

There are a TON more custom colors available; these are just a few of the colors that I've ordered.   These images are of the deep diving Shiners, but we prefer the shallow Shiners for springtime browns.
