Traxstech
On Saturday evening, my wife and I were at the park with the kids when the phone rang. It was a buddy of mine telling me that Jeff and Melody from Traxstech were at the marina and wanted to say hi. So we scooped the kids up and put them into their car seats and headed over to Anchor Resort.
Turns out that they were headed to a tournament in VT and since they were in the neighborhood they thought they'd stop in and visit with as many retailers and pro-staffers along the way as they could. I'm glad we were hanging around and got to spend some time with them. They had brought a new prototype bird-tree with them that I've seen several photographs of over the past few months, but it's even better looking in person. We set it up on the boat and it sure did look like it belonged there. Here's a couple of pics of the trees. You'll soon be seeing this on their website, www.traxstech.com. The one I saw was a three holder tree, and it was a VERY nice piece of equipment!

We spent a bunch of time on the boat just talking about boat set-up and we even came up with a couple of ideas for improving our set-up on the Billy V II. They also had a new BBQ grill that will fit into their track system with them, and I can see us using that at Pro-Am's and so on to grill up burgers and dogs.
We're glad we got to spend some time with Jeff and Melody. We were able to give them lots of positive feedback on their products, and if you've fished with us before you know that we just love our Traxstech rod holders. In my opinion they're the best out there.

Until Next Time,
