Fishing Report - August 21, 2008 PM Trip
We went out for an afternoon troll today with Chris and Eric. After we wrapped up our AM trip we decided to give the waters East of the chute a try. We headed down towards West Nine Mile Point and set up in 150 FOW. We had a major take a big rip on our 500' copper and break off 498 feet of it, then we had another major break off the leader on our 600' copper. We lost yet another 500' copper shot after we re-spooled and we finally got a good hook set into Eric's first-ever king:

This afternoon's hot items were any Green Double Crush Glow Spinny/ Sigg's Green Hypnotist fly that we put in the water, especially if it was on copper! Unfortunately we couldn't hold onto any of our bites tonight so we had to settle for just the one fish, but we did get to see an amazing sunset on our way into the chute:

Thanks for a fun evening guys, and congrats to you Eric on your first-ever King. Next year we'll see if we can get one of those big ones that got away into the net!
until Next Time,
Fish On!!
